The quality and overall value of food served here is exceptional for an establishment classified as a cafe. I use the Chocolate Cafe for lunch, breakfast and for just coffee. From the perfectly cooked 'Eggs Benedict' to the 'House Jacket Potato' which incorporates white wine, leek, cheese and bacon, it delivers wonderfully flavoursome meals and good portion sizes. The premises is deceptively large inside, affording enough space for privacy, yet maintaining a good atmosphere and buzz throughout. The tables, bathrooms, serving area and surroundings are spotlessly maintained and the glass-fronted food preparation area is evidence of a business which is confident in the way it presents itself. Great food and a healthy and interesting decor are always favourable attributes for a service business to have, but it is the staff here who always seem to go the extra mile to maintain efficiency and quality which set it apart. It's unsurprising that this riverside gem is regarded as a starting point or destination by large groups of cyclists and walkers looking to experience Henley at it's best.
